Seasonal Confusion

Last year it looked like this on April 1st (no, not a joke, that’s when the blizzard hit):

April 2011

This is what it looked like today:

Today, 21 March 2012

And, drum roll, the weather station said today:

Yep, that is EIGHTY degrees.  In March.  In Maine!   The weather guy said he could not find ANY records this warm this early in the year as long as he could find in the records…. INSANE!  Of course, as Eli said, he loves low humidity 80 degree summer days…oops…it’s the start of Spring!

    That is really scary Sarah!

I heard that on the national news and immediately thought of you! That’s basically what it was down here too! At least you guys have the low humidity, but so far our humidity isn’t that bad. This is incrediblely crazy! And who knows what our summer will be like! How many snow falls did you folks actually have this past winter? We didn’t even have one flake fall here in my part of NC.

LOL! That’s New England for you — and no place is more New England than Maine!

It has be 86 every day this week here in AL. I think we went from fall to summer bypassing winter and spring. OK by me.
