More family updates and pug-wonderfulness

Eli loves his pug SO MUCH!

How can you NOT love that face?!!!!

He is really pretty darn good about taking care of him, too. Recently, we were having a major rain, and Widgeon (the pug) really doesn’t like getting wet. So Paul decided to make a temporary rain coat for him out of grocery bags (that hairy mop in the lower left is Yeti’s tail….)

Here’s Eli delightedly showing Joshua Widgeon dressed for rain:

Later on, as we were having the first fire in the woodstove for the season, Widgeon decided to play cat and stretch out.

It got really hard to keep the eyes open,

and finally, impossible to stay awake a moment longer:

and just because he is SO CUTE!!!!!!!!:

Oh my gosh, I just spent all yesterday trying to draw my bro and sil’s dog who looks sort of like that, except they have a yorkshire terrier? But she’s buggeyed like your dog. Great fun to draw! What a character to have in the family. Hope you had a good Tday too!

You know, between your little guy and Mark Lipinski’s Tulip, I could almost get to like these beasties!

i love your blog. I was looking for info about pugs and broken legs because my 4 month old pug broke hers today and came upon your site. Did your dog break his leg and if so how did you nurse him back to health. He is very cute and your quilts are indeed works of art. If you can answer my query I would appreciate it. Thanks and take care
